MI APPAREL: WHAT IS IT?

Mi Apparel is the latest venture from a fashion buyer whose mission is to curate products that make you feel good about yourself. “Sustainable fashion isn’t boring or stuffy! It’s effortlessly cool, sexy and fun,” says founder Kate Auguste.

All the products – including fashion, beauty and homeware – reflect the rebel in you, representing freedom for all, and freedom of speech. But it also means every product has been created in an ethical, sustainable and transparent way (more on that below).

Zola Amour’s t-shirts and shirts are perfect for casual office attire. Armed Angels ensure your sustainable wardrobe is full of pattern and colour. PALA eyewear has your sunglasses covered; while Underprotection have your pretty underwear and swimsuits sorted.

With accessories starting from under £20 and clothes from under £40, Mi Apparels’s pricing is accessible, too.

MI APPAREL: HOW SUSTAINABLE IS IT?

Auguste says: “The brands I sell are all passionate, active activists in making our fashion industry better. They prove to us all that fashion can be pushed to make the supply clean traceable, to give workers a fair wage and better working conditions.”

Products are made exclusively from sustainable materials: organic cotton, Tencell, Model, Lyocell, recycled polyester and post-consumed plastic, recycled wool and linen. There are even items made out of fire hose (from the fabulous Elvis & Kresse).

MI APPAREL: HOW CAN I FIND IT?

Mi Apparel is an online boutique, but look out for their brilliant pop-ups and events, too.

When it comes to postage and packaging, the shop operates a zero waste, zero plastic policy. This means orders are sent out in a reusable cotton drawstring bag and wrapped in a brown paper bag.
