ODYLIQUE: WHAT IS IT?

Odylique offers natural body care for those with super-sensitive skin, all the way from babies to mums. It’s created a range of make-up, too, with mascaras, lipsticks, blushers and eyeshadows. The extensive beauty range includes body wash, shampoos, conditioners , moisturisers and even suncream.

Odylique means ‘power of nature’. This means the products are based on organic herbs, plant oils and natural, active ingredients. The brand’s philosophy is that all ingredients must have therapeutic value, and the product must be a joy to use.

Everything was created especially for eczema and allergy-prone skin, so the gorgeously scented products are compatible with the most sensitive skin.

ODYLIQUE: HOW SUSTAINABLE IS IT?

The skin is our biggest organ. Yet even those of us who are conscious about what we eat slather our skin with a whole bunch of harmful chemicals, which get absorbed into our bloodstream.

Any beauty product can claim to be organic or natural, because the terms are unregulated. Beauty brands make these claims a lot, even when it’s not true.

Lots of brands use one or two organic or natural ingredients alongside a whole bunch of harmful chemicals. Yet they still put ‘organic’ or ‘natural’ on the packaging. Odylique was one of the first UK beauty brands to be certified organic because the family-run company wanted to give its customers an independent guarantee.

None of the products use synthetic chemicals. All the plant oils are virgin and cold-pressed so they have their full antioxidant vitamin content, actively nourishing the skin.

The products are made in Suffolk. All products are tested on a panel of human volunteers who have sensitive and allergy-prone skin, and the products are never tested on animals.

ODYLIQUE: WHERE CAN I BUY IT?

The best way to get your soon-to-be-silky-soft mitts on these incredible products is to buy direct from Odylique’s website, where you’ll find heaps of information about all of its science and formulas.
