ONE SMALL SHOP: WHAT IS IT?

One Small Shop is a beautifully curated clean beauty and sustainable style online pop-up store, selling natural skincare and ethically made hosiery, underwear and sleepwear, accessories and homewares. All the brands they showcase are independent.

The items are based around life’s essentials such as underwear and shampoo – for both you and your pooch (the shampoo, that is, not the underwear. Hopefully).  There’s also stylish and functional Wilby backpacks, great-smelling candles made in recycled wine bottles, sexy and durable Swedish Stockings and more.

ONE SMALL SHOP: HOW SUSTAINABLE IS IT?

One Small Shop is a 100% vegan shop that offers conscious shopping. Its team carefully handpicks brands making products that run the gamut from fun to fashionable, but are always ethical.

Founder Katie only stocks brands that are transparent in their supply chain and only use small factories which they have vetted themselves.

Her mission started when she turned vegan and struggled with what was available. “I started searching for alternatives, and this took months, but I found some really amazing brands. People doing great things, who don’t exploit people or animals to make a profit. Companies who put their principles first, but who also make really cool, beautiful products. Ethical shopping is incredible and I wanted to put my favourite brands in one place.”

The brands One Small Shop work with are committed to being environmentally friendly with some using solar power and others committing to only using recycled materials. All are transparent about workers rights, some train and employ local women who are facing multiple disadvantages. One Small Shop’s packaging is recycled and recyclable, and they re-use any packaging they receive.

ONE SMALL SHOP: WHERE CAN I FIND IT?

Head to the website, where you’ll find a powder-pink paradise of natural soaps, superlatives smalls and more.
